Go eat at Mr. Lucky's at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. Order the $7.77 steak and shrimp meal. You won't find it on the menu its a "locals secret." You get a decent steak and shrimp meal and it comes with a salad!

Downtown is good for cheap restaurants. I like the Carson Street Cafe in the Golden Nugget. Or the Magnolia Room at the 4 Queens. The Pasta Pirate at the California is good and cheap (free bottle of Wine)but has a funny name.
