My boyfriend and I are going to Las Vegas this summer and are looking for a truly exceptional dining experience. Which of the many, many restaurants would you recommend?

If you want REALLY GREAT food in nice warm atmosphere, I suggest Capital Grill down by Fashion Show Mall. They have wonderful steak, lobster, and this is the only restaurant I will eat caviar at. They have an extensive wine list and will pair for you.
If you want something a little more VEGAS and more atmosphere oriented, try the Mandalay Bay's Asian restaurant China Grill, it is good food and GREAT service. There is another restaurant there that is a Charlie Palmer restaurant called Aureole with a 4 story wine tower that a girl will climb to get wine as ordered. Also, there is Red Square at Mandalay. This is the Russian Vodka bar with a frozen bar. They have great appetizers, very different. They also have a dinner menu if I remember correct but the Vodka is great! There is also the Charlie Palmer Steak house at Mandalay too. This is good fine dining. Red, White and Blue is the best lunch spot in Vegas in my opinion. They have great salads, sandwiches and desserts (ice cream...yum) This is also in Mandalay.
Grand Lux in the Venetian is a good breakfast and lunch (they have an awesome eggs benedict).
Bellagio has a japanese steakhouse called Shintaro. Great food but large quantities. Jasmine at Bellagio is elaborately decorated and supposed to be set for romance. Food is pretty darn good as well.
Have Fun!

No other fine dining room in Las Vegas offers such an inviting assortment of steaks, chops, chicken, seafood and pasta as William B's at the Stardust. Comfortable furnishings, tasteful decor and matchless service provide a completely satisfying dining experience in this highly acclaimed restaurant, a favorite gathering spot for local residents and visitors since 1987.

Find Rosemary's. There are two. One is in a casino and one in on a main drag off the strip. I went to the one off the strip. This is a local's favorite and I had a spectacular dining experience from the moment I entered the restaurant.
The service is extroadinary and well trained. The food is top drawer and in fact I had the owner sign a menu which I mounted an hung on my wall of fame. After complimenting his servers and chef the owner gave me a tour of his kitchen.
I ate at Wofgang's Puck Postrino. Great food too. Had breakfast at the Palms. But Rosemary's off the strip was far and away the best meak I had while in Las Vegas

I forget the name of it but the one in the Bellagio that over looks the water show. I'll update when I find the name of it.
It's called Le Cirque. Here is a list of the top rated restaurants in Vegas that includes pricing and reviews. Le Cirque is rated #2 on this list.

The Picasso in the Bellagio is truly amazing. Has a view of the water show and every dish (except the Lamb) is exceptional. You'll have to make a reservation a week in advance though.

The absolute BEST buffett is at the one at Treasure Island.....It has everything from Sushi to BBQ to America to Italian....Pricy like 12.00 per person. BUT VERY VERY NICE and gourmet desserts to die for.
